For more than 10 years Cotec has been developing and providing systems, processes, materials, equipment as well as wear and tear parts for PVD & CVD thin film and sputter applications. The thickness of these coatings is in the range of a few nanometers, depending on the application.

The Cotec product portfolio comprises coating materials such as oxides, fluorides, metals, mixed or customized substances, elements for thermal and e-beam evaporators, crucibles, liners, filaments, APS and ion-source parts, calotte-segments, filaments and quartz crystals (just to name a few). We also offer filaments, coils and sputtering targets made of different metals, which possess, like all our materials, a specified degree of purity. All these materials are most suitable to produce high-tech, optical active, nanoscale coatings. Before distribution, all Cotec materials are tested and a material certificate is issued.

“Easy-to-clean”: A special kind of protection coating, only a few nanometers thick, against mechanical stress, watermarks, fingerprints, dust, grease and so on. Added value and additional benefit for your product and your customer by interface modification by 3D-nanotechnology (anchoring group, molecular chain and functional group). The combination of Cotec´s ultra hydrophobic and oleophobic coating material DURALON^UltraTec and HCS machines (Hydrophobic Coating Systems) will provide a long lasting easy-to-clean coating. The effect will remain the entire lifetime of the product. Our coating systems are equipped with one chamber or constructed as an inline system and it can be integrated in any workflow.

Cotec also provides plasma treatment and nanocoating systems configured for a wide range of surface property requirements e.g. low friction, wettability, corrosion resistanty or adhesion promoting.
